Computer Classes

The library offers a variety of several computer classes for our patrons.

Basic Genealogy Class

 Covers the the basics of Ancestry Library Edition and MyHeritage Library Edition databases. Class lasts 90 minutes. 

Prerequisite: Must be able to use a mouse and have basic typing skills.

Learn basic computer components and mouse skills. Practice searching skills and examine websites. Geared toward the beginner.

Introduction to iPad/iPhone

This hands-on technology workshop will help you make the most of your iPad and iPhone devices. Devices will not be provided, so please bring your own device for a hands-on experience.

Beginning Microsoft Word

Learn the basic functions of Microsoft Word and the computer keyboard. Look at business/holiday letters, resumes, envelopes, and labels.

Prerequisites: Each student must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, using the mouse and basic typing skills.

Beginning Microsoft Excel

Learn the basic functions of Microsoft Excel and the computer keyboard. This class will give students the basic knowledge in order to create, edit, save and print a workbook in Excel.

Introduction to Android Tablets & Phones
